This program will be led by Elisabeth Brander, director of the Center for the History of Medicine and head of rare books at our own Bernard Becker Medical Library. Elisabeth has spent her career studying landmark works like Andreas Vesalius’ 1543 De Humani Corporis Fabrica, a first edition of which is housed right here at WashU.
