 p>This program will be led by <strong>Elisabeth Brander</strong>\, director
  of the <a href="https://becker.wustl.edu/center-for-history-of-medicine/" 
 target="_blank" rel="noopener">Center for the History of Medicine</a> and h
 ead of rare books at our own <a href="https://becker.wustl.edu/" target="_b
 lank" rel="noopener">Bernard Becker Medical Library</a>. Elisabeth has spen
 t her career studying landmark works like Andreas Vesalius’ 1543 De Humani 
 Corporis Fabrica\, a first edition of which is housed right here at WashU.<
