The WashU Medicine Distinguished Alumni Achievement Awards recognize alumni who have made noteworthy contributions to WashU Medicine, academic medicine, medical research or clinical practice, or who have exemplified extraordinary service to patients, students or communities.  

Alumni and friends are invited to nominate distinguished WashU Medicine graduates for Alumni Achievement Awards. Nominees should: 

  • be an MD graduate of WashU Medicine and celebrating a reunion year 
  • have distinguished achievements in their community, profession or through service to WashU Medicine 
  • be celebrating 25 years or more since graduation for the Alumni Achievement Award or 20 years or less since graduation for the Emerging Leader Award 
  • have not previously received the award for which they are being nominated; view past recipients 

Current eligibility and important dates 
MD alumni who graduated in a class year ending in 2 or 7 are eligible for the 2027 award class, which will be honored during Celebration Weekend, April 9-10, 2027. Nominations are open through Nov. 13, 2026.
