Unless otherwise noted, events will take place in the Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC) on the School of Medicine Campus. Register for events and purchase tickets.

Friday, April 12
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Class of 1974 Lunch

Alumni celebrating their 50th reunion and their guests are invited to a lunch and ceremony celebrating the Class of 1974. Afterward, attendees are invited to join all alumni celebrating a reunion year at our Decades Party.

1:15 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. Faculty Presentation – Dr. Eva Aagaard

Dr. Aagaard, the Carol B. and Jerome T. Loeb Professor of Medical Education, senior associate dean for education and vice chancellor for medical education will share what’s lies ahead for medical education and review the first few years of the Gateway Curriculum and how it’s impacted enrollment and student success and satisfaction. Audience questions are encouraged.

2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Medical Campus Tours & Bookstore

Join a student-led tour of the School of Medicine Campus or stop by the WUSM Bookstore. Tours will leave EPNEC on an ongoing basis between 2:30-3 p.m. and last about an hour but can be shortened upon request. The bookstore is located on the ground floor of 4590 Nash Way (previously Children’s Place), across the circle drive from EPNEC. It closes at 4 p.m. and is not open on the weekend.

Come meet current and newly admitted WUSM medical students! Learn more about life as a medical student today and share your experiences at WashU with future colleagues in medicine.

Getting Around

Complimentary shuttles will be available on an ongoing basis between the St. Louis Union Station Hotel and The Chase Park Plaza and EPNEC on Friday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will also be shuttle service between the three hotels listed below and CityPark on Friday evening between 5-10 p.m. In addition, rideshare services Lyft and Uber operate in St. Louis.

St. Louis Union Station Hotel is located at 1820 Market St.; St. Louis MO 63103.
The hotel is 1 miles from CityPark and about a 12-min drive from the medical campus.

The DoubleTree Hilton at Forest Park is located at 4550 Forest Park Ave.; St. Louis, MO 63108, about 2 blocks from the medical campus and EPNEC. In the event of inclement weather, guests can use the BJC Link to access EPNEC from the hotel, but this is a slightly longer walk.

The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis is located 212 N. Kingshighway Blvd.; St. Louis, MO 63108, about a .6 mile walk or 6-minute drive from the medical campus.

Should you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or feel unwell, we will issue a full refund for all paid activities. Please email medicadvancement@wustl.edu with your name and cancellation notice. Refunds will be processed within four weeks to the card used to pay for your activities.
