St. Louis Microbrewery Tour
Join WashU undergraduate and medicine alumni for a bus tour of three St. Louis microbreweries. Your tour guide will provide background on each brewery, tasting suggestions, and historic and fun facts about St. Louis. You will spend approximately 45 minutes at each brewery and receive a token redeemable for a beverage at each location. This tour is facilitated by BrewHop STL and the Danforth Reunion Team.

David H. Perlmutter, MD, the Spencer T. and Ann W. Olin Distinguished Professor, executive vice chancellor for medical affairs and George and Carol Bauer Dean of WashU Medicine, will share highlights from the past year and what’s ahead for WashU Medicine. Afterward, Dean Perlmutter and Rob Brophy, MD ’01, president of the WashU Medical Center Alumni Association, will present the 2026 Alumni Achievement Awards.

Faculty Presentation
Guests will enjoy a presentation from Jason Hassenstab, PhD, the Norman J. Stupp Professor of Neurology, Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences, and Director of the Cognitive Technology Research Laboratory. He is the Principal Investigator of the ARC-Down syndrome study, an international study of Down syndrome associated Alzheimer’s disease. He also leads the Cognition Cores for the Dominantly-Inherited Alzheimer Network-Trials Unit (DIAN-TU) and the DIAN observational study and the Charles F. and Joanne Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.

Tour the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum on WashU’s Danforth campus led by student-educators. Enjoy an in-depth exploration of several works from the museum’s renowned permanent collection. Participants will engage with one another in group discussions throughout the tour and are encouraged to explore the special exhibitions before or after the tour. Capacity is limited.

The closest garage to EPNEC is the Metro Garage located at 4560 Nash Way, St. Louis, MO 63110. Complimentary validations for event parking in this garage will be available at our reunion check-in table during scheduled events.
The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis is located at 100 Carondelet Plaza, St Louis, MO 63105.
The DoubleTree Hilton at Forest Park is located at 4550 Forest Park Ave., St. Louis, MO 63108, about 2 blocks from the medical campus and EPNEC. In the event of inclement weather, guests can use the BJC Link to access EPNEC from the hotel, but this is a slightly longer walk.
The Chase Park Plaza is located at 212 Kingshighway Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108, approximately 0.5 mile from the medical campus and EPNEC.
Energizer Park is located at 2100 Market St., St. Louis, MO 63103.

If attending the microbrewery tour, park in the East End Garage. The shuttle will pick up and drop off at the roundabout at the Brookings Loop on the east end of the Danforth Campus.
Transportation in St. Louis:
To provide timely and cost-effective transportation for out-of-town attendees, we will be offering an Uber voucher to alumni who book through our Celebration Weekend hotel blocks at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, The Chase Park Plaza, and the DoubleTree Hilton at Forest Park. The $50 voucher can be applied toward any Uber rides on Friday, April 17 or Saturday, April 18. Guests will receive the voucher via email one week prior to the event. Be sure to check your inbox and have the Uber app downloaded in advance. If your ride exceeds the voucher amount, additional fare will be charged to your Uber account.
Lyft is another ride share service in St. Louis, and rides can be arranged in the app. We recommend scheduling rides in advance in either app, when possible.
